We’re Hiring – Financial Planner

Summit Financial Group, LLC, a thriving wealth management firm in San Ramon, CA, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Financial Planner to join our dynamic Advisor Resource Center. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the financial futures of our clients by building comprehensive and personalized financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

• Research and compile information for client financial plans.
• Analyze client data including income, expenses, debts, and assets.
• Create comprehensive financial plans considering:
-Retirement projections and needs.
-Optimal asset allocation strategies.
-Educational funding strategies.
-Insurance coverage recommendations.
-Estate planning considerations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products and regulations.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with other Planners and Advisors on client cases.
• Collaborate on the creation of executive summaries for clients:
-Summarizing client goals and financial situation.
-Outlining recommended financial strategies.
-Communicating recommendations clearly and concisely.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of financial planning experience.
• Securities licensed under current requirements: SIE, Series 7, 66 (or 63/65), and Life & Health (or ability to obtain within 3-6 months).
• Started coursework or strong desire to pursue CFP® certification.
• Proficient in financial planning software like eMoney or MoneyGuide Pro.
• Masterful communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
• Understands the financial planning process and fiduciary standards.
