Financial Planning in Divorce

“With each ending comes a new beginning. You just need to be brave enough to keep stepping forward.”

Divorce can negatively impact our emotions and is often the source of tremendous stress. It can also wreak havoc on our personal finances. Proper guidance and planning are crucial during the divorce process in order to help protect your financial well-being.

Summit Financial Group can assist with financial planning issues related to a divorce, which is a specialized service under our financial planning model. Jeneen Slack guides our clients through the complex financial issues faced during the divorce process and helps them create goals and a plan for their future.

Jeneen holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designations. During the divorce settlement process, she works with clients and family law attorneys to address specific financial matters.  Analysis of client financial data can provide invaluable information to help the client and their attorney achieve a fair, equitable, and just resolution.
