As one of the founding partners of Summit Financial Group, Steve has spent 25 years helping clients make their financial lives better. As a comprehensive planner, he gets to know the entirety of a client situation before making recommendations to align their resources with their goals.
Steve is a born educator and enjoys the opportunity to teach financial concepts. He speaks throughout the community on a wide variety of financial topics, helping educate the public about better stewardship of their financial resources. Steve is always available to speak to groups, no matter the size, and is passionate about providing common-sense solutions to some of life’s more complex financial issues.
Steve makes community service a professional and personal priority. A lifetime subscriber in the theory of abundance, he believes all individuals and organizations benefit from giving back to the community. Steve has served on many non-profit boards throughout the community, and is a past president of his rotary club and Leadership San Ramon Valley. As a partner at Summit Financial Group, LLC, he was instrumental in forming the Summit Charity Golf Tournament which raises money for a deserving local charity each year. Through that process, and with the hope that the spirit of Summit giving will live on for generations to come, he and business partner Nathan Bennett created the Summit Financial Foundation. Through serving the community and helping people prepare their financial lives, Steve is able to do what he loves best: helping people secure their financial futures while improving the community around us.
On weekends, Steve can be found on a golf course trying to improve his game, or at a local park where he is cheering for or coaching his kids in sports. Steve enjoys travelling to new destinations around the world, but he loves returning to the best country on Earth and to his Danville home. Steve has three children: Christopher, Shelby and Colton.
