As a frequent speaker on the topic of Exit and Succession Planning, Don works with business owners to create a comprehensive plan for the eventual transition from the business. In collaboration with the owner’s CPA, attorneys, and other trusted advisors, the transition plan must also account for the unique combination of personal and business life that over time have become intertwined.
The stories of companies, their humble beginnings, and the challenges owners have overcome to be successful invigorate Don. His team’s why: “We exist to perpetuate businesses and help create financial independence for their owners.”
In addition to his CFP®, and CBEC® designations, Don is a member of multiple Exit Planning Associations, East Bay Financial Planning Association, and is a member of the Premier Resource Group.
In addition to his client work, Don is a founding board member of the non-profit PulsePoint – a mobile application that assists cardiac arrest victims. The application is making a difference by saving lives across the United States.
Don is also involved in fundraising for multiple non-profit organizations supporting veterans, seniors, and underprivileged youth. Don, a resident of the Tri-Valley since 1966, resides with his family in Danville.
